When Detours Lead Us Exactly Where We Need to Be

Yesterday didn’t go according to plan. As does happen from time to time, and that turned out to be a good thing.
What started as a quick blog update turned into a deeper audit of my website. After a Medium link failed to load properly, I ended up uncovering (and fixing) some things I hadn’t noticed before — including my home page description and structure. With the help of ChatGPT, I was able to clarify my message and clean up the presentation. It wasn’t what I planned to do, but it brought me closer to what I really needed.

And that’s something I see a lot when people first start using AI tools.
Many feel overwhelmed or unsure where to begin. Some aren’t sure what AI can even do for them. Others jump in too fast, trying to use too many tools at once — and miss the chance to build a real foundation.
That’s why I created the “Your First Steps with AI” Starter Kit — to slow things down and walk you through the first, simplest moves. No coding. No complex theory. Just real tools, hands-on activities, and small wins.
🧠 And before you start, there’s something even more important: knowing how you learn best.
That’s where the AI Learning Style DNA Quiz comes in. It’s a quick self-check that helps you understand how you take in and apply new information — so you can use AI in a way that fits you, not someone else’s blueprint.
🛠️ Want to go even deeper?
I’ve bundled the AI Starter Kit with an editable e-book template. So once you start learning, you can start building too.
Whether you’re a coach, creative, or curious explorer, this bundle gives you the tools to both learn and create something of your own.
